DOE PROPOSES INTERIM ELECTRICITY MARKET IN MINDANAO

The Department of Energy will set up an interim electricity market in Mindanao where distribution utilities, generating companies and consumers willing to be cut off from the grid for a price can transact to lure investors into putting up power plants in the region.
